He takes insights and cues from wider consumer, cultural and macro drivers to triangulate a succinct "so what" point of view and direction that can then be built out into an operational strategy for individual brands aligned to their DNA and point of difference.

Through KATELIA PROJECTS, he provides independent consultancy services but is also able to tap into an extensive and trusted collaborator network of experts for larger, multi-disciplinary innovation projects.

WORKING HISTORY

Vishal’s experience spans over 18 years in growing international luxury lifestyle brands within the fashion, retail, hospitality and entertainment industries. The roles he has operated in have been highly customer-centric covering client strategy, CRM, marketing, omnichannel retail transformation, membership management and more. He has helped to shape the consumer propositions of directional and disruptor brands such as Mr Porter, Soho House and Farfetch.

During his time at Farfetch he worked on the inception and scale-up of the first of its kind, fully connected retail proposition; Store of the Future working with selected flagship brand partners including CHANEL and Thom Browne as well as Farfetch’s own boutique, Browns to build out a revolutionary retail experience.

Most recently, his remit focussed solely on conceiving large-scale global innovation partnerships with prestigious partner brands to turbo-charge exploration and ideation of new concepts embracing nascent technology and cultural consumer shifts. The mission for each brand was to help them sense and shape the experiences of tomorrow and maintain relevance whilst keeping to their unique DNA.
